Reducing Costs
In addition to 'no landfill', clients also benefit from using recycled planings screened down to -6mm thus providing a high quality bituminous material for a fraction of the cost both to them and the environment. Instead of using the plannings as part of a hardcore subase, it is used as a high quality wearing / surface course.
Planings are screened down to -6mm, recycled in the Asphalt Recycler and, within 8-20 minutes (depending on the weather), the recycler will produce a wearing/surface course for a complete footway renewal.
